In-Person Services During COVID-19 By coming to the PCQ premises, you are assuming the risk of exposure to COVID-19 or another public health risk. This risk may increase if you travel by public transportation, taxi, or ride-sharing service.
To obtain services in person, you agree to take certain precautions which will help keep you, us and the community safer from exposure and the medical consequences of contracting COVID-19. By coming to our practice you agree to:
cancel your appoint if you have been to a COVID19 hotspot in the prior 14 days
arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time
wash your hands or use alcohol-based hand sanitiser before you enter the practice
adhere to safe distancing precautions of 1.5m between yourself and others at the practice
adhere to good respiratory hygiene while at the practice e.g. covering your mouth and nose with a bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze, disposing of tissues and then using hand sanitiser
use credit card or bank transfer payment methods
If you arrive for an appointment and we believe that you have COVID-19 symptoms, or believe you have been exposed, we will have to ask you to leave the practice/office immediately. We can reschedule your appointment or follow up with services by telehealth as appropriate.
If there is a resurgence of COVID-19 case numbers or if other health concerns arise, we may require that in-person sessions are postponed or held via counselling telehealth. If you decide at any time that you would feel safer with telehealth services, you must let your PCQ psychologist or the PCQ phone receptionist know.
If you wish to claim rebates for telehealth sessions, you must ask your psychologist or our admin team before booking a telehealth appointment as Medicare and most private health rebates for telehealth sessions are temporary, and changes may occur.
Consent By using our services or the PCQ Website, you agree to the PCQ Terms and Conditions, above.
