a clinical interview
and objective testing, backed by over 20 years of experience.

Medico-Legal Assessments

These assessments determine if a psychological condition is present and if so, a DSM 5 diagnosis is provided.  Likely causes for psychological symptoms are discussed in the report, as well as an opinion of rehabilitation required and prognosis.

Assessment appointments are booked within a fortnight and reports are proved within two weeks from the assessment.

Diagnosis

These assessments can determine or confirm the presence of a psychological condition.  Diagnostic assessments can also be used to confirm a previous diagnosis made by another health professional. 

Rehabilitation recommendations can also be provided in reports and rehabilitation case management services implemented, if required.

Functional Capacity Assessment / Work Capacity / Fitness for Duty

These assessments confirm the presence of psychological symptoms, and determine the degree they affect an individual's ability to function day-to-day, and/or perform an occupation, or the like, in an efficient and safe manner.  

For injury-management purposes, recommendations for treatment frequency and type can be included in reports, upon request, as well as other suggestions for improving return-to-work success.
