Assessments are available for the following: * Psychological Diagnosis * Second Opinions * Medico-Legal * Functionality Capacity Evaluation ( i.e. Fitness for Duty / Work Capacity )
All assessments include a clinical interview and objective testing.
Diagnosis
These assessments can determine or confirm the presence of a psychological condition. Diagnostic assessments can also be used to confirm a previous diagnosis made by another health professional.
Rehabilitation recommendations can also be provided in reports and rehabilitation case management services implemented, if required.
These assessments determine if a psychological condition is present and if so, a DSM 5 diagnosis is provided. A Global Capacity score is also included in the report upon request, as well as likely causes for psychological symptoms and opinion of rehabilitation required and prognosis.
Assessment appointments are booked within a fortnight and reports are proved within two weeks from the assessment.
Work Capacity / Fitness for Duty Assessments identify if psychological symptoms exist. If symptoms are identified, reports indicate to what degree they are affecting an employee's ability to perform their usual or anticipated occupation, in an efficient and safe manner. A statement is provided in the report as to whether or not the individual is 'Fit for Work'
Recommendations in relation to treatment frequency and type can be included in reports upon request, as well as rehabilitation requirements.
